Hi, i have a Windows wallet 64 bit beta, sent coins Now o want to send out It asks me private keys 33 words seed and it says wrong password but this is right, Why This wallet asks seed for sending out funds and why it says wrong, This wallet has never worked fine, i have tried to recover on web wallet also not works is this an error or what?
You couldn't get the wallet to work properly. You can request for help, the community will help you out.. But its a very weird alternate claim that the wallet might be a scam. xD Anyways, are you using the latest version?
Verify that you are typing in your 33 word seed EXACTLY as shown. Edit: Spelling mistakes will cause an error. If you think you misspelled your seed words when you wrote them down, you can verify the spelling here, as long as you were somewhat close when you wrote the words down. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PGP_word_list When you create your wallet using the 33 word seed, the password it asks you for is the password you want to use moving forward. It has nothing to do with a password you used on a previous wallet.
Capitalization shouldn't affect the seed. That being said, for sending transactions, the wallet should be asking for your private passphrase that you set during the creation of the wallet, not the seed.
From slack discussion, I believe the issue here was he's trying to enter the seed where it's asking for the wallet passphrase. These things are not the same.
