Even if getbalance shows zero (as mine does), you can verify your address was sent the funds using dcrctl.exe ... --wallet listtransactions. You would probably see a single transaction, with "category": "immature" and "confirmations", 155 (in the amount of 282.63795424, just a little more than advertised).

What does it take for the transaction to mature? I have no idea.

But you can go to the mainnet Block Explorer and search for your airdrop address. For example, here's a transaction with a ton of airdrops. It's part of Block #1.

I already have mine in my wallet.

    dcrctl -u * -P * --wallet getbalance "default" 0 all

That balance is probably not spendable, assuming you needed the "all" parameter to see the airdrop. The status of the transaction can be seen in detail with:

    dcrctl.exe ... --wallet listtransactions

OK. Now this has frightened me. What does save them mean? Do you mean if I close the command prompt, I will lose all my Decred coins? How do I save them?

Also I see to have recieved all my Decred into my old address rather than my new address. How do I transfer them? (question addressed to anyone here)

Btw, glad to see Decred coins adding up :)

Doing pirouettes and cartwheels in my bedroom

    Whatever I want.
If you were wondering why it didn't do the auto-link thing, there's only one C in "ClokworkGremlin."

Also I'll take this opportunity to offer a friendly reminder that all orders paid for in Decred within the next week get 50% off, based on the exchange rate(at time of posting, about $0.50 USD per DCR.) at the time I send the payment request.

As for me: PoS most, buy, sell, and trade the rest.

Thanks. Do you know how to transfer my coins from my old address to my new address?

Also would it be OK if I just shut down the command prompt and switched off my PC? Is that the normal way of doing it?

Okay so I see my airdrop coins, and I bought some on Bleutrade (despite the fact that I hate using most exchanges). It's safe to send coins to my airdrop address, correct? Just don't mine directly to it, or is that okay once my coins have matured?
