Does anyone have anything in mind that they want to buy just now and would be willing to pay using Decred?

    Whatever I want.
Faucets actually provide payment in Bitcoins for providing ad hits to the server, and the payout is borderline exploitative.

To illustrate: I average more money in a week selling vinyl stickers, which I've spent less than 40 hours on since I got my vinyl cutter, than I could working cryptocoin faucets for a year if I could work them 24/7 without the need to sleep or do other things to keep my body sustained.

You'll make more PoS mining. I'm hoping I can set up a shared-reward pool once the documentation is released, though I may have to stick with the standard model.

Though if you want to send me some money, I'll be happy to send you back some stickers as a reward.

Well do u think I should buy tickets at the current rate or try waiting for shared-reward pools?

If you've got the credits for it, I would buy tickets now, the current ticket pool size is over target, which means the price is going to adjust up higher in 4 hours instead of lower, and the documentation for setting up additional stake pools isn't expected until next week. Then I'll probably have to get another Raspberry Pi (or similar device) to host it, since my Pi is currently at capacity, so that's likely to add another week to the delay.

Then I guess I will have to wait. Not an issue, I think after a week the prices will fall a bit, right?

With the massive influx of PoS miners and coin, I actually expect the prices to rise even higher than they are now. I don't think 50DCR/ticket would be out of the question for a short-term max, but I expect the new mean to land somewhere around 30DCR.

That is a transaction to purchase one voting ticket. 29.58 credits were spent on the ticket, there was a 0.05 credit transaction fee, and the rest was sent to a change address which your wallet should have automatically generated.

There are a lot of people buying tickets right now, so your wallet will only buy them when they are available, even if you have enough coins to spend. This is different from the first 2048 blocks, when few enough people were staking and there were enough tickets available that the first 150 or so blocks after someone opened their wallet, each block would result in a ticket purchase. By comparison, I had enough for 2 tickets recently, but they were purchased over a period of about 2 hours after I unlocked the wallet.
