    1 x 4790k, 1 x Titan x, 1x GTx 760. Never tried mining with it but ... maybe it will work.

Just hope that none of those Rigs that are mining BTC or similar atm won't switch too fast

I've been toying with the idea to do a quad titan x build. What do you all think?

I've never mined anything but I was thinking about setting up a simple machine to do some mining - just to learn how it's done.
Would appreciate any tips on a recent and decent tutorial on how to build a sub $2000 rig and any other advice on how to get started.
    Cheeers!

Not much to building a rig.
PSU+cheap Mainboard + minimal RAM+ cheap CPU(with cooler) and the best ATI card you can buy (or more than one).
I do say ATI instead of Nvidia because blake256 is the kind that runs better on ATI architecture (they are also a bit cheaper than the Nvidia counterparts). At least until someone makes a good CUDA miner. As far as i managed to read so far the ATI's offer better bang for the buck.
You don't even need a drive for it. Just a flash drive with a live OS (linux/Win7) running the mining scripts/software.

Good job explaining mate, keep it up.

There will be tutorials with everything provided so you set up your rigs, no worries.

We should setup a benchmark page, where people can post benchmarks of theie rigs

We have the wiki page. That will be the place :) and I'm sure it'll be a thread soon after the release.

I'm really interested to see what the Titan will do vs. my R9 295x2. I'll be sure to post benchmarks to wiki once everything is ready, hope everyone will do the same.

Anyone has any good tips on good motherboards that will support AMD Radeon R9s? or compatibility issues to stay away from

I am planning to go with a R9 nano + r9 fury x together or a dual r9 nano crossfire mainly based in the concern of a no CUDA optimized miner, my problem is I can set 2 rigs right now.. 1 with titan x (sorry wow) and another with the 2 nanos. complete different motherboards. so seating on the fences

I have my 3x dual amd 280X setups ready to rock and roll. Hoping that the launched miner will support gpu mining on linux. so i am already on my toes.
