    Hi all

Just wondering if anyone knows why the change of ports for the daemon?
I had one PC mining fine on testnet, however with mainnet CGMiner WILL NOT connect to the daemon on this same PC.

Only change was the port to 9109.

Anyone else have this issue? I can't for the life of me find anything that is blocking or using that port. So I don't understand the problem. Is it a Cgminer thing? My two other PCs areworking fine o_O

Sorry probably helped if I gave an error or screenshot.

I get this, no idea why. Identical setup across all 3 of my Win7 machines. This same PC and card worked fine in testnet

How long did you let it run for? This is common when you first start cgminer in a localhost pool set up. Let it run for a few blocks and you should see new blocks detected. If you see that it is working.

If it's working on two other machines then I would doublecheck that the batch file/cgminer binary is the same/TLS certificate are all the same as the two machines that are working.

Exactly my problem. Never figured out what is wrong. Changed to pool mining.

Had all 3 of my machines running as soon as mainnet launched. 2 of the 3 picked up and started mining within 10mins.

    Maybe I'll try a pool
