Devs, I am willing to dedicate some time to working with Decred as I feel it is a vastly superior system and train of thought. I offer my services in terms of web development with Ruby/Rails to develop the first-gen wallet's. I can do web-based and a desktop client using Electron as a wrapper to easily distribute to most OS's. The biggest thing I will need is JSON-RPC interaction with the daemon.
Decred already have a copay fork on-line wallet. But every new development from community is welcome.
I think you need to get something in there other than a parking page. You've been flashing the URL around here for over a week and you haven't actually done anything with it.
Its good to have an "official" wallet. If you need someone to design the network + security, im your guy.
Maybe part of the site could be a central list of businesses, charities, non-profits and exchanges that accept Decred as people start adopting it? That would be really useful, especially early on.
Contact Humble Bundle. If they accept this currency, Decred will be adopted really fast. But for that, we need a fully functional platform operating.
That's a pretty great idea. I'd like to contact some smaller vendors I use regularly, too, once there's software to use (much easier sell then). I know of two at least that would probably accept it, they already accept Bitcoin.
