Has anybody noticed that if they win a POS ticket the timestamp of it, and your staked tickets, isn't credited to your account until you open up your wallet when using a stake pool? The only hassle with this is that after winning the ticket, there is a 24 hour ticket lockup that prevents you staking again with the winning and staked tickets. While I usually open up my wallet everyday, it would be convenient if the actual winning time was the determining factor in the lockup, not the wallet opening time.
The 256 block maturity period starts as soon as the stake pool votes. You won't see an update to the balance of your wallet until you open it and re-sync, of course, but it won't make any difference to when you can spend those funds. I'm slightly confused as to what's happening to you, it could be a display bug in the wallet program you are using? Are you using Paymetheus, Decredition or the dcrwallet?
I am using the Paymetheus wallet. It could be a display bug, but the funds seemed locked up for voting for 24 hours after opening the wallet.
As @Kandiru mentioned, it takes 256 blocks for stake rewards to mature. 256 blocks @ 5 minutes/block is roughly 21 hours. So this is expected behavior.
The 24 hour lockup is not my issue. The fact that the tickets won are timestamped at the time of wallet opening, not the time they are won, thus increasing my lockup time. So if I don't open up my wallet for a week, but won 7 tickets (say 1 each day of the week), all will have the timestamp of the time I opened it the wallet the 1st time after not opening it for a week. Anyway I see a new wallet was released, I will give that one a try.
